Does it matter… really?
This year’s election in the USA seemed to cause so many people anguish. There seemed to be so much division in thinking and from my experience it’s all fear-driven from not knowing “what is going to happen?”.
Isn’t this the same thing that happens at every election?
Do you really have any control over it?
Does it really change how you live your life every day?
One of the greatest gifts each of us has is the gift of choice. No matter what happens to you and around you, you still have a choice about how you are going to react. Nothing and no one can ever take that away from you.
So what really informs how you make your choices?
Is it the politics of the day? Is it the party of politics? Is it the people of politics?
Or is that the excuse for not taking responsibility for your choices?
What about values? What about morals? What if that was truly what informed our decisions every day?
How we treat our neighbor, with love and care and kindness rather than fear and hatred.
The ability to live in the abundance of all that life offers rather than the scarcity of fear hoarding for fear of not getting your fair share.
Every 4 years things change in the USA and every 4 years we figure it out. The question is, what informs how we figure it out? Is it really politics or are we better than that as human beings and make choices from our morals and values no matter what the politics of the day are?
In Abundance,
Sue
